My passion as a director is for translating stories into pictures that connect and resonate with the audience. I want to be able to transcend being labelled as one type of director -to break down any barriers or preconceived ideas that people might have about me. I'm a natural communicator who likes to inspire, motivate and challenge my team to do the best work they can.

If I feel something is not working then I can be adaptable and address any problems. I believe my strengths are in the detail of my vision and how I communicate this to both the production team and ultimately the viewer. I can cope under pressure, to a tight deadline and with a small budget - I was sole director on the low budget, weekly soap -Young & Speechless -for 4 years and at the same time presenting and directing Dtv - a weekly magazine programme for children and teens on SABC. I love a challenge and believe in never giving up and never stop learning.

My dream job? A feature film or drama series.
